• עשרה נסיונות נסו אבותינוTen tests our forefathers tested Hashem
• וינסו אותי זה עשר פעמיםAnd they tested Me these ten times
• עשרה עשרה הכף בשקל הקודשTen, ten was each spoon by the holy shekel

• לשדד מערכות הטבעOverride the natural order

• להפרע מן הרשעים שמאבדין את העולם שנברא בעשרה מאמרותTo exact payment from the wicked who destroy the world created with ten utterances
• מאמר אחד יכול להבראות(The world) could have been created with one utterance
