אות א:

אות יב:
- שטות דלעומת זהFolly of the opposite side (of holiness)

- אין אדם עובר עבירה אלא אם כן נכנס בו רוח שטותA person sins only if a spirit of folly enters him

- אהני לי' שטותי' לסבאHis folly helped the elder

- למעלה מטעם ודעתAbove reason and knowledge
- עבר את הדרךStrayed from the path
- למעלה מדרך המיצועBeyond the middle way
- במקום הקשרIn the place of the tie
- כפול ומכופלDoubled and redoubled
אות יד:
- לא כאברהם כו' ולא כיצחק כו' אלא כיעקבNot like Avraham, not like Yitzchak, but like Yaakov
- לא נתמלאה צור אלא מחורבנה של ירושליםTyre was filled only from Jerusalem's destruction
